We join the sorrow for the passing of Dr. Assad Kotaite, one of the most prominent and respected figures of civil aviation.

Dr. Assad Kotaite was president emeritus of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), an institution which he served for 50 years in his dedication to the safety and development of international civil aviation.
